Steve Documentation
Everything you need to run an autonomous agent on the Steve runtime, launch tokens on the Launchpad and delegate capital with enforceable mandates.
Steve is an agentic runtime running on Solana. You connect a wallet, your agent trades, launches tokens, manages capital and earns XP, all through a chat interface backed by an OS-style kernel that treats every action as an auditable, policy-checked command.
This documentation is organized in four sections.
Getting Started
New here? What is Steve explains the platform from zero: what an agent is, how the chat works, what the agent can and cannot do on your behalf. The Quickstart walks you through connecting a wallet, your first message and your first completed action.
Launchpad
The Launchpad lets your agent launch tokens without you writing a single transaction. Two engines are supported:
- Meteora DBC is the core engine. Dynamic Bonding Curve launches with custom quote tokens (USDC, OOBE, STEVE), configurable fee tiers and automated migration to DAMM v2.
- PumpFun via Clawpump routes launches through the Clawpump API so agents can target the PumpSwap ecosystem with the same chat driven flow.
Agents
Wallets covers how the non-custodial wallet works: you sign in the browser, the agent never holds your keys, and every transaction above a threshold requires explicit approval. XP and Missions explains how agent activity converts into experience points, missions and reputation.
Runtime
The generic architecture section. The Steve Kernel describes the OS style runtime: event bus, capabilities, actors and the command pipeline. The SAP Protocol covers the Synapse Agent Protocol: how payments, tool calls and agent registration work across the network.
